This article will show you what you can do to save cash while creating home renewable energy for yourself. in the current climate, can you really afford to throw away money?

I’m sure all of us would like to save on our Electric Bill? It is commonly believed, that although better for the environment, it is a lot more expensive and not much help toward paying the energy bills. People tend to think that the installation time is too long and that they generally breakdown.

As of recently there is a great affordable way to create your own renewable energy in your own backyard! Renewable energy is definitely the way to go, maybe if more people jumped on the bandwagon, and used renewable energy will be a clean one. Government statistics show nonrenewable sources of coal, gas and oil will run out within the next 50 years if we continue using them as we do. The government is putting in place their own policies to build more renewable energy sources for the future.

And what will happen when the oil, gas and coal continues to be used until there’s hardly any left? It will get more expensive, meaning larger energy bills for you at home. So how do you go about getting cheaper energy bills? You simply build your own wind turbine at the back garden all you could build your own solar panel on your roof, why you still reading this article go and get your hands dirty! Can you imagine five maybe ten years down the line and you’ve had a solar panel installed for several years, can you imagine how much money you would have saved? Depending on the size of your house, it quite possible that you could save thousands of dollars!

‘Without a doubt this is the way forward, and ideally everyone should install their own solar panels and wind turbines, the world would be a cleaner place. ‘ If you’re looking to go about building your own renewable energy and take a look at the earth4energy service. Everything including in the package will show you exactly how to go about creating your own renewable energy at home?

One of the most alarming situations in today world is the resource depletion. Resources are the life blood of a nation. Resources are of two types:

Renewable resources

Non-renewable resources

The main difference between the two types of resources is that non-renewable resources once used can’t be used again and on the other hand renewable resources can be used again and again without depleting it.
It adds to the importance of renewable resources. Renewable resources are like wind energy, solar energy etc. Lets see some of the main importance of renewable resources:

We can use it repeatedly without depleting it.

No contribution to global warming,

No polluting emissions

Low cost applications when counting all costs

Saving on health and its costs

After considering all these importance of the renewable resource it is quite clears that we should start more renewable energy finance projects to tap these renewable resources.
Already many countries have started many projects for the effective use of renewable resources. But all these efforts are not enough to solve the problem of scarcity of resources. Along with government projects some individual projects should also be initiated to support government. There are many renewable energy project finance companies that provide the funds to start these projects. These companies aim at projects which are related to renewable energy.
One such company is www. sunergyllc. net. This is one of the well known companies that provide finance to the projects that are aim at developing renewable resources. Many initiates didn’t get too long just because of the lacking of funds. These projects, no doubt need huge funds but the advantage derived from these projects is much higher than the cost incurred.
That’s why companies like Sunnergyllc. com get establish just to provide finance to such needy projects. One of the best renewable energy that is present in abundance is the solar energy. The energy derived from the sun can be used in many ways.
So the people and business houses should understand the importance of such renewable resources and try to substitute.

When we talk about renewable energy, normally we will relate it to the power from sun, or better known as solar power. But, other than the sun, wind is another source to generate renewable energy. Let’s explore how does wind power work in generating energy that can be used to replace the non-renewable fossil-fuel energy.

Back to the basic, the wind power is actually a form of solar power because the wind is generated due to the heating effect from the sun. When the sun heats the earth’s surfaces at different speed on sand, water, stone and various types of soil, these surfaces absorb and release heat at different rates, creating different temperatures. At a certain temperature, the hotter air begins to rise from the surfaces very quickly because it is lighten than the equal volume of cool air. As the results, the hot air rises and reduces the atmospheric pressure near the earth’s surface, which draws cool air to fill the gap the hot air leaves behind. This action causes air movement or is known as Wind.

Based on the physic theory, when the air moves, it generates kinetic energy, a type of energy created with the motion of mass. With energy conversion technology, we can capture and convert the kinetic energy into other forms of energy such as electricity. Energy from wind is a renewable energy that can be generated endlessly. It has become the future trend as the one of major power generation sources besides the solar power. The world is put a great effort to make wind power a long-term energy strategy to produce electricity, mainly due to the wind power generation is clean and most importantly, it is renewable and environment friendly, a stark contrast to traditional power plants that rely on fossil fuels.

A wind power system consists of wind turbine, which is made up of tower, blades and a nacelle, a control gearing system. The wind power generated from a wind turbine is determined largely by the length and the design of the blades. The design of blades creates a pressure of difference in wind, high pressure at one side and low pressure at the other side. The pressure difference between the sides of blades rotates the blades. The rotation of blades generates kinetic energy and being transferred into electric energy, is in turn transferred into electricity via transformer.

With the technology improvement that leads to a better generation techniques, the cost of generating electricity from wind power has been greatly reduced, making it a feasible renewable energy solution to be used as the major source of electricity for future. In fact, there are many homemade wind power system building guides available that give guidance to people who are interested in implementing renewable energy system at home to make a homemade wind-power system to generate electricity for home uses. The renewable energy generated from wind has started to become an alternative energy source from today, and it will definitely be the major sources for future, replacing the finite fossil fuels as the power generation source.

Summary

Wind power works to generate electricity by converting the kinetic energy captured from wind turbine to electric energy via transformer. Wind power is clean and renewable energy that will become the long-term energy strategy for the world.

The world currently relies heavily on nonrenewable sources such as coal, oil and natural for its energy. These energy sources are nonrenewable, which will eventually dwindle and causing environmental damages that are too expensive to be recovered. In contract, renewable energy resources will never run out because they can be re-produced endlessly. Moreover, they are clean and environmental friendly. With the technology improvement that significantly reduces the cost of using renewable resources to generate power, it will become the major energy solutions for the future. Let’s use review the five major sources of renewable energy, which the world is focusing on as the long-term energy strategy for future.

Energy Source #1: The Sun

The most common renewable energy source is either directly or indirectly from the sun. The energy from solar power can be directly be used for home uses. In fact, many of homemade renewable energy systems are built based on solar power system. The solar power has been widely uses as the alternative power source to generate electricity, and for hot water heating, solar cooling and to power a variety of home appliances.

Energy Source #2: The Wind

Besides the sun, the wind is another commonly use renewable energy source. The movement of wind is captured with the blades of wind turbines to be converted into electric energy, and then turn into electricity via transformers.

Energy Source #3: Biomass

Biomass is a renewable energy source, derived from living organisms such as plants, wood and waste. Although the Biomass has not been commonly used like the sun and the wind, mainly due to the complexity involved. However, scientists are making a good progress toward generating electricity and producing transportation fuels.

Energy Source #4: Hydrogen

Hydrogen is the most abundant element on the earth. It can be easily found many organic compounds, as well as water. Many of us may hear about the new concept of cars which run with water, is the one run on the Hydrogen power generated from water. Unfortunately, hydrogen does not occur naturally as gas, it always combined with other elements, such as it combines with oxygen (H2O) to form water. Therefore, it needs to be separated from other element first before it can be burned as fuel or transformed into electricity.

Energy Source #5: Hydropower

Hydropower is a power generated by taking advantage of gravity when water falls from one level to another. Usually, the kinetic energy of water is captured with water turbines and turns into electric energy to generate electricity.

Summary

The technology improvement has enabled the generation of power from renewable energy at lower cost then before. The above sources are the five major renewable, nonpolluting, and reliable energy sources.

Renewable energy credits (RECs), also known as credits, green certificates, green tags, or tradable renewable certificates are tradable certificates of proof that one MWh of electricity has been generated by a renewable-fueled source.

Customers can buy green certificates whether or not they have access to green power through local utility entities or a competitive electricity marketer; without having to switch electricity suppliers, thereby making REC buying and selling independent of geography.

Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS)/ Renewable Electricity Standard (RES)

Renewable Energy Credits are central to the RPS (also known as RES). The RPS requires all electricity generators (or electricity retailers, depending on policy design) to demonstrate, through ownership of credits, that they have supported an amount of renewable energy generation equivalent to some percentage of their total annual MWh sales. For example, if the RPS is set at 10%, and a generator sells 100,000 MWhs in a given year, the generator would need to possess 10,000 credits at the end of that year. Renewable Energy Credits are a tradable commodity and the pricing of RECs primarily vary by supply/ demand within a state/ region and how the RECs are packaged for sale.

The Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) is a flexible, market-driven policy that can ensure that the public benefits from wind, solar, biomass, and geothermal energy. It also ensures that renewable energy generation continues to be recognized and utilized as electricity markets become more competitive. The policy states that a minimum amount of renewable energy is included in the portfolio of electricity resources serving a state or country, and — by increasing the required amount over time — the RPS can put the electricity industry on a path toward increasing sustainability. Because it is a market standard, the RPS relies almost entirely on the private wholesale and retail electricity markets for its implementation. Private market implementation will result in competition, efficiency, and innovation that will deliver renewable energy at the lowest possible cost. The RES provides a predictable, competitive market, within which renewable generators compete with each other to lower prices (as more renewable energy is generated within a state/region, this also generates more RECs, ultimately driving the cost of the RECs in that state/region to be lowered as the supply increases). Mandatory RPS policies currently exist in 29 U. S. states and the District of Columbia.

As renewable energy generators automatically earn credits (RECs), they actually earn extra income from the sale of the credits. These credits then have to be purchased by electricity generators or retailers to compensate for the electricity that is generated from non-renewable sources (i. e. mostly fossil fuels). Therefore, a mandatory RPS directly benefits the growth of the wind power industry and also provides extra income for wind farms as the RPS requirements are increased over time. As not only existing states continue these requirements, but as states that have yet to adopt a mandatory RPS develop such guidelines, the wind industry hopes to continue to see considerable growth.
